Lou's has a mom and Dad living in Keansburg, N.J. along with a 17 yr old brother Adam, a 16 yr old Brother Zak, and An adorable little sister of 11 named Penelope ( who everyone calls "Poo")
Lou started in community theatre when he was 10 yrs old by auditioning for "Oliver" at the insistence of his mother..Bribed by his Aunt Cindy with $10 he auditioned and got a part in the ensemble and he was hooked.

He got better and better parts in mostly musicals such as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" as "benjamin" and too many others to mention until he was seen by a manager of kids for Broadway, a few months later he got the understudy role for the 2 boys in ,"the Sound of Music" which he held for 6 months . He was then offered the full time Principal role of "Freidrich" which he held for another 9 months.

When he got too old for the part he left and started the arduous process of auditioning for every 13-15 year old boy part ever created . He played  many community theatre parts in New Jersey but didn't get anything major until  he auditioned for the role of "Kevin" in Rebecca Miller's "Personal Velocity" with Fairuza Balk, Kyra Sedgewick, and Parker Posey. This was filmed in April of 2000. His first film role. This was an experience Quite unlike Broadway.

From that Role he was noticed by Billy Lazarus of United Talent Agency (UTA) in Beverly Hills who in turn steered him in the direction of Heather Reynolds at First Artists Management (now One Entertainment) and Bob Glennon, Lou's Manager. Again the auditioning process began but this time it was only for major roles ...although the feedback from casting agents was extremely positive they all had the same thing to say..."He's great but...He's not 18 yet..."  well Lou finally got his first part while with Billy and Bob... Justin Cobb in"Thumbsucker"
Then "HBO's Empire Falls" and now "The Chumscrubber"
and "50 Pills"...etc....etc....etc....:)
