Filming is finished on "The Chumscrubber" and Lou is home auditioning again, yesterday he auditioned for "The Good Shepherd" and he is going in for a Showtime series called "Weeds" next...
In the Meantime...he is taking Improv classes in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Thumbsucker"!!! it hopes to be first shown at the "Sundance Film Festival" in Park City, Utah on Jan. 20, 2005. "The Chumscrubber" also hopes to be released at the festival which means Lou may have two movies coming out at the same time, in the same place. Lou will be there for those if it happens!!! ...."Empire Falls" is said to be coming out either in December or Spring of 2005 on HBO as a 4 part miniseries....either way all 3 will hit at about the same time...

Looks like Lou is heading back to Los Angeles at the end of August since he was just offered the lead role of "Darren" in the independent film "
50 Pills". It will reportedly start shooting on Aug.30th in Los Angeles and New York, it was written by Matthew Pernicairo and will be directed by Theo Avgerinos for October Night Productions.

Lou has been taking improv classes in Red Bank, N.J. and eagerly awaiting the start of filming on "50 Pills". He should be leaving for Los Angeles around the 25th and shooting is now reportedly starting on Sept. 6th.  In the meantime, Lou recently performed a "Stage Reading" for "Greenstreet Films",  Fischer Stevens' ( Short Circuit, Flamingo Kid) indie film company (which BTW is being called the next Miramax) with "Patricia Clarkson" and
"
David Morse" both of the movie "The Green Mile".

"50 Pills" was pushed back a week so Lou won't be leaving for lovely
Los Angeles until around the 6th of Sept. but he was asked to be a member of the Improv Troup, "Improv Jam"( www.improvjam.com) in Red Bank N.J. and he has been performing with them for 2 weeks, he loves it and hopes to continue when he returns from shooting in late September or early October.

Lou is in LA shooting "50 Pills" and having a great time, the latest info on his "Yet to be released" movies is as follows:
EMPIRE FALLS- set to show on HBO as a 4 part miniseries in April or May of 2005
THE CHUMSCRUBBER - may go to Sundance and has a possible March 2005 release date
THUMBSUCKER- still  "Hopefully" going to Sundance in January of 2005

Lou is finished shooting the Los Angeles portion of "Fifty Pills" and the new york portion won't be shot until December as they want it to dipict a christmas in N.Y. feel.
Lou is spending a little extra time in L.A. auditioning and going to meetings.

Lou is in NYC filming all the outdoor shots for "FIFTY PILLS" all this week.
BTW- "THUMBSUCKER" and "THE CHUMSCRUBBER" were announced as opening at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Jan 20, 2005.

Lou is on his way to Los Angeles to shoot a 7 page spread for "Vitals" magazine then he will come home on friday and leave again Saturday where he will spend the week at the Sundance Film Festival.

Lou is in Los Angeles auditioning and meeting with casting persons and studio people and reading the 25 scripts sent to him after Sundance. He is currently staying with his friend Trevor Morgan. He will be home for the premiere of "Empire Falls" in NYC in May.

OK, here's whats been happening...Lou just turned 20 years old on July 27th...
"The Chumscrubber" will be opening in New York and L.A. on August 26th. Thumbsucker will be opening across the country on September 16th.
Lou recently moved to Los Angeles for the past 3 months for auditions and meetings but now he's back home in New Jersey...for a short time, in fact as he just left today for a press junket for
"Thumbsucker" which will take him to San Francisco, Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Minneapolis and then back home, later in the month and in September he will be in Washington DC, Seattle, Portland, Oregon and Toronto not to mention Edinburgh, Scotland for thr film festivals there.
He will be shooting his next role in Richard Kelly's (Donnie Darko)
"Southland Tales" in the beginning of September and, if time permits, he will accept a role in "A Guide to Recognizing your Saint" with Robert Downey Jr. which also shoots in New York in August.
